History & Development

1996
On September 16, 1996, the Prime Minister issued Decision 667/TTg approving the investment project of Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park with the investor being Tan Thuan Industrial Development Company (IPC).
2000
On November 10, 2000, Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park signed a land lease contract with its first customer, Hanoi Steel Company, at Lot B6, area 6,983m2.
2007
On June 14, 2007, Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC) was established on the basis of equitization of Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Division of Tan Thuan Industrial Development Company.
2008
On September 23, 2008, Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Phase 2 was granted an Investment Registration Certificate, marking a new development step of HIPC.
On January 30, 2008, the inauguration of the centralized wastewater treatment plant in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park was one of the few industrial parks at that time that fully met the legal regulations on environmental protection.
2009
On October 11, 2009, the Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Worker Activity Center was inaugurated, creating a healthy recreational playground for workers and residents in the area.
2010
On January 30, 2010, Saigon Central Container Port (SPCT) was inaugurated at Lot C17, with an area of ​​40 hectares, the most modern container port in Ho Chi Minh City with a loading and unloading capacity of 1.5 million TEU/year.
2012
On August 31, 2012, the Workers' Dormitory and Kindergarten for children of workers in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park were inaugurated.
2014
On February 17, 2014, construction of a standard factory area for Japanese enterprises began at Lot D6, an area of ​​13 hectares of the Vietnam-Japan industrial park (a joint venture between HIPC and UNIKA NB Group).
2016
On September 16, 2016, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, HIPC was honored to receive the 3rd class Labor Medal. In the same year, HIPC increased its charter capital from 300 billion to 600 billion VND.
